The Mine Shine Industrial Initiative was officially launched today in Charleston, West Virginia. The novel distributed manufacturing approach allows for setting up a solar panel factory through a franchise, initially starting with 20 – 100 employees, suitable for rural communities with railroad access.
The Mine Shine plan calls for investing $10 Billion in solar roofs and solar farms domestically manufactured in West Virginia.
